The Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area has welcomed Lisa Dickson to the team as the executive assistant specializing in development.

Dickson comes to YCNHA from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California San Diego as a development assistant. She has more than 20 years of experience as an executive assistant which allowed her to develop a diverse background and skill set with many facets and specialties.

New to Yuma, Dickson is excited to join the team on the ground floor helping to achieve YCNHA’s vision for the future in making Yuma a destination city.

When not working, she enjoys cooking, reading and teaching herself how to quilt. Being from California, she is eager to see the desert bloom as she is told it is beautiful but doesn’t quite believe it yet.
